These octopus ukuleles are excellent value for money. With their quality pine bodies, mahogany necks, rosewood fingerboards and smart metallic finishes, they're a superb beginners' instrument for people of all ages.
They have proved to be particularly popular with schools; the kids find them easy to tune and they love the bright colours.
Ukuleles provide a great introduction to chord structures, intervals and general having fun making music!
Comes fitted with Aquila Nylgut strings
Octopus ukuleles are fitted with Aquila Nylgut strings, widely considered the ukulele world's best strings for intonation and tone.
Rebekah, Ukulele expert, reviewed the UK200-DB on 21st January 2016

I love the classic look of this instrument. It is lightweight and easy to play, perhaps for picking up with friends around the campfire. This is fast becoming the go-to instrument for beginners, taking over from the recorder. The supplied strings are also a very good quality. With hundreds of free apps and youtube videos now available online, the UK200-BR is a great starter instrument and hobby.

Soprano ukuleles use re-entrant tuning, where the strings are not ordered from lowest to highest pitch.
